Nua Healthcare Services (Nua) is proud to announce that it has successfully renewed its Three-Year Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), following its most recent survey conducted in January, 2026.
This achievement represents the highest level of accreditation awarded by CARF and reflects Nua’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care and maintaining the highest standards across its services.
The survey evaluated a comprehensive range of programmes, including Behavioural Consultation Services, Community Housing, Community Integration, Supported Living, Inpatient Mental Health Treatment, and Residential Treatment services.

The outcome confirms that Nua continues to demonstrate substantial conformance to internationally recognised quality standards and is widely regarded as a leading provider of specialist care in Ireland.
Recognition of Excellence in Person-Centred Care
The 2026 CARF report highlights Nua Healthcare Services as a mission-focused organisation, with services distinguished by their personalisation, individuality, and overall quality. Individuals supported by Nua are empowered to live meaningful and fulfilling lives, with opportunities to engage in community activities, education, employment, and social inclusion.
Across all programmes, there is clear evidence that individuals are treated with dignity and respect, and that supports are tailored to reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals.
Dedicated Teams Delivering High-Quality Services
CARF surveyors commended the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of Nua’s staff, noting strong teamwork and a culture of responsiveness and innovation across the organisation.
Nua’s residential and inpatient environments were also recognised as modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, providing safe and supportive spaces that promote privacy, dignity, comfort, and wellbeing.
Strong Foundations and Ongoing Quality Improvement
The report affirms the strength of Nua’s organisational systems, including its governance structures, service delivery frameworks, and continuous quality improvement processes. These systems ensure that services are consistently monitored, evaluated, and enhanced to meet the evolving needs of those supported.
As part of CARF’s continuous improvement approach, the survey also identified opportunities to further strengthen already robust practices. Nua has welcomed this feedback as part of its commitment to ongoing learning, development, and excellence in service delivery.
Importantly, CARF recognised that Nua is strongly positioned to maintain and build upon its high standards, reflecting a deeply embedded culture of quality, accountability, and innovation.
Continuing a Proven Track Record of Excellence
The renewal of Three-Year Accreditation builds on Nua Healthcare Services’ strong history of CARF success and further reinforces its reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality, specialist care.
Nua Healthcare Services extends its sincere thanks to its dedicated staff, the individuals it supports, and their families, whose ongoing commitment and collaboration make achievements like this possible.
