Canine Therapy
Nua’s Mobile Canine Therapy delivers a structured, professionally facilitated service using purposeful interaction with our trained therapy dog to support calm, connection, and emotional wellbeing.
Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual or group, supporting communication, behaviour, and engagement through structured, goal-focused activity.
The service is delivered across homes, residential settings, schools, and community environments, enabling individuals to engage in a familiar, low-pressure setting.
Our approach supports meaningful participation, builds confidence, and reinforces outcomes aligned with each individual’s Personal Plan.

Canine Therapy involves structured, guided interaction between an individual, a trained therapy dog, and a handler, delivered alongside existing supports.

At Nua Healthcare, sessions are designed to complement therapeutic interventions already in place, enhancing engagement in a way that feels natural and accessible.
