Nua Healthcare Services was proud to support the Mental Health Matters Poster Campaign 2026, with CEO Noel Dunne attending a special photocall at Government Buildings alongside campaign founder Barbara Brennan and Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
Now in its third year, the national campaign continues to grow as a powerful initiative promoting open conversations around mental health and wellbeing. Led by Mental Health Matters, the campaign uses creativity and art as a platform to encourage individuals to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a meaningful and accessible way.
Open to individuals, schools, workplaces, and community groups across Ireland, the initiative invites participants to design posters that reflect their personal perspectives on mental health. By turning creativity into conversation, the campaign plays an important role in reducing stigma, strengthening community connection, and encouraging positive engagement with mental health topics.
Speaking about the initiative, founder Barbara Brennan highlighted the importance of creative expression in supporting mental wellbeing, noting that art can help people communicate emotions “we often struggle to say out loud.”
The Taoiseach also praised the campaign, acknowledging that initiatives such as this create valuable opportunities for people to engage with mental health in a positive and inclusive way.
Speaking after the event, CEO Noel Dunne said:
“Nua Healthcare Services is proud to support initiatives like the Mental Health Matters Poster Campaign, which encourage open and positive conversations around mental health. Creativity can be a powerful way for people to express themselves, and this campaign provides an inclusive platform for individuals and communities to connect and share experiences.”
Nua Healthcare Services is delighted to support this meaningful initiative, which aligns closely with its commitment to promoting mental health awareness and encouraging open, positive engagement across communities nationwide.
Following the Taoiseach’s support, the campaign submission deadline has been extended to Sunday, 19th July, providing additional opportunity for participation ahead of the judging day on 30th July.
