Kildare Farm Foods open new sensory garden & playground dedicated to Nua Healthcare resident Jason
Jason, supported by Nua Healthcare, recently celebrated his 51st birthday at Kildare Farm Foods. Many of Nua’s residents and colleagues were in attendance to celebrate this very special day with him.
For the past 5 years, Jason has worked at Kildare Farm Foods, with his employment facilitated by Nua’s Outreach Department. The Outreach team work closely with people receiving support from Nua, preparing them for taking on employment opportunities in the community.
The owners of Kildare Farm Foods, The Sexton Family, decided to create a sensory garden & playground and dedicate it especially to Jason such has been his contribution. The official opening took place today where Jason cut the ribbon with Eddie and Sinead Sexton. Jason’s sister Cindi was also in attendance along with PIC, Sinead Cahill of Nua and Alan Pillinger, Deputy Director of Services, Nua Healthcare.
