SERVICE USER OF THE MONTH - AUGUST 2021
The Winner is Shannon!
Shannon was choosen as the very worthy winner of the Service User of the Month Award for August 2021.
Following Shannon's smooth transition to a new Nua home recently, she has built trusting professional relationships with the staff team and has settled in very well in her new surroundings and environment in County Mayo. Her wonderful staff team are very proud of how well she has adapted to this transition and wish to congratulate her on her great progress so far.
Aside from the above, Shannon is also very ambitious by nature. She has now started a full-time course in Animal Care at the Westport College of Further Education. A wish and goal of Shannon's is to succeed in obtaining an award in Animal Care over the coming year.
Shannon is really looking forward to participating in this course and thereafter, it is her hope to obtain another one of her goals - by securing employment in an animal-related area.
Staff are working closely with Shannon to make sure she has all the support and encouragement required to help her achieve this. From everyone in Nua Healthcare, we wish to congratulate Shannon on becoming Nua's Service User of the Month for August 2021.
