Supported Living hosted their first ever Children’s Summer Camp and it was a huge success!
All service specific covid-19 risk assessments and associated controls/government guidelines were adhered to at all times during the duration of the summer camp.
The camp was fully booked for the duration and staffed by a fantastic team. It ran for two weeks for a total of 18 Service Users from the ages of 4 to 14 and was held in Bagnalstown Family Resource Centre, Co. Carlow.
Supervisors, Andrea Keightley and Jack Scully pulled out all the stops for these little ones, ensuring they had plenty of fun activities. The children and the team are now skilled at slime making, arts and craft, musical chairs and all kinds of sports! They also partook in some meditation and enjoyed music.
Staff from Supported Living and Residential Services were on hand to run the camp. Special thanks to the following staff members for their help throughout the two weeks:
Stephen Carr- Residential Services
Shane Mannion - Residential Services
Laura Delahunt - Supported Living Services

It was a fantastic camp full of fun for the children after weeks of lockdown due to Covid-19 and some respite for parents. It will be the first of many! Well done to all involved.
