Nua Healthcare Appoints Dr Matthew Patrick as Chairman
Nua Healthcare is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Matthew Patrick as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of our Board. Effective immediately, Matthew joins Nua Healthcare at an exciting time in our development as we continue to grow and develop our services.
Matthew joins Nua as an already highly regarded and respected Board member. A Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst by professional training, Matthew has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 30 years. Matthew is also the Chair for a leading private provider of residential care and supported living services for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs in the UK.
During his career Matthew has undertaken roles as a clinical academic; a practising clinician; CEO for two of England’s most well-known NHS Mental Health Foundation Trusts; as a national advisor, and more recently non-executive roles in the UK’s public, private, voluntary, health and social care sectors. Matthew’s work has also involved developing and delivering specialist mental health services internationally – most recently in the United Arab Emirates.
Matthew’s proven track record of focussing on quality, service development, training and governance, will add strength to Nua’s unwavering commitment to delivering high quality services that produce positive outcomes with the people we are privileged to support.
