Emma's Job Shadow Experience with An Post
Emma from Cullen House alongside her mentor, Elsie Garty, worked very well together at the National Transport Office for An Post in Mullingar as part of Emma's 2016 Job Shadow experience.
Emma and Elsie reportedly had a thoroughly enjoyable but busy day at the Mullingar base, sending out letters, stamping post, registering letters, sending and receiving emails. However, that did not stop them from having a few laughs along the way and eating buns with the rest of the An Post staff!
Emma met lots of people in the Post office and she really enjoyed her day working there. Nua Healthcare would like to thank An Post, especially Elsie and the transport team in Mullingar for their support and participation on Job Shadow Day 2016.
Job Shadow Day is all about highlighting the valuable contribution people with disabilities can and do make at work.
It also gives employers an opportunity to express their commitment to inclusion in the workplace.
