Nua Healthcare staff complete the '100 Miles in a Month' challenge in aid of The Mater Foundation
The '100 Miles in a Month' challenge for The Mater Foundation began on the 1st of February, ending on the 28th of February. Over the course of the past 28 days, 109 staff from all across Nua Healthcare were running, jogging and walking in rain or sunshine, everyday, raising much needed funds for a very worthy cause.
Overall, Team Nua raised a fantastic amount of money, with the final total coming to €3,123. All the funds raised will go directly to The Mater Foundation to fund frontline patient care, lifesaving equipment, and medical research.
The Mater Foundation aims to improve patient care. Fundraising challenges such as the '100 Miles in a Month' allows the foundation to invest in state-of-the-art equipment that makes diagnosis and treatment more efficient and effective, enhancing facilities to create a comfortable and caring environment, and financing research that ensures the Mater is leading the way in medical innovation.
