SERVICE ACHIEVEMENTS: Nua Attends Annual Conference

Nua Attends Annual Conference

The Psychological Society of Ireland, under the Division of Behaviour Analysis, held their 13th Annual Conference in Trinity College Dublin earlier this month.

Tara Faherty, Louise Magee and Sinead Byrne represented Nua’s Clinical & Behaviour Team, proudly presenting three case studies during a symposium dedicated to Nua Healthcare.

Chaired by Ita Forde (Director of Services) the case studies highlighted effective behaviour analytical procedures implemented by our Behaviour Specialists and frontline staff which enhanced the quality of life of all three participants. We would like to say thank you to all our staff for supporting the implementation of the Multi Element Behaviour Support Plans and also a special thank you to all Service Users who gave us consent to present their wonderful successes and outcomes achieved. It was positively received by the audience which included other practitioners, disability and mental health organisations and researchers/ lecturers. Well done to everyone involved!
