SERVICE ACHIEVEMENTS: Nua Achieves Renewed Accreditation from the NAS

Nua Achieves Renewed Accreditation from the NAS

Since 2009, Nua Healthcare’s Adult Residential Services have attained Autism Accreditation through The National Autistic Society's Autism Accreditation Programme in the United Kingdom. The accreditation is an autism-specific quality assurance programme for hundreds of organisations throughout the UK and across the world such as; local authorities, NHS trusts, education authorities, local autistic societies and private companies.

Autism Accreditation is valid for a 3-year period and in December 2018, Nua Healthcare successfully attained renewed accredited status.  By providing a unified standard of excellence and a systematic framework for continuous self-examination and development, the programme aims to continuously improve the quality of service provision for people with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. We feel our renewed status is as a direct result of our continuous quality improvement programme over the past decade and a half.

Nua Healthcare is especially proud to have been the first internationally accredited provider of Autism Services for Adults in the Republic of Ireland.

Nua’s Adult Residential Services with Autism Accredited Status include;

  • Kilbride House, Co. Laois
  • Taliesin House & Log Cabins, Co. Laois
  • Killeen Lodge, Co. Kildare
  • The Willows, Co. Kildare
