ANNOUNCEMENTS: Nua Healthcare proudly support Trim's frontline services in their charity fundraising event
Nua Healthcare were extremely proud to support Trim's frontline services in their charity fundraising event last Sunday for Féileacáin - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland.
Trim's Gardaí and Fire Brigade personnel were running and cycling 99km over 9 villages to raise money for the worthy charity that supports families who are dealing with the loss of a baby.
Garda Edel Dugdale came up with the idea of a fundraising event after encountering a couple at a Covid-19 checkpoint when strict travel restrictions were in place during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Sadly on Easter Monday, the couple were preparing to bury their baby daughter. Garda Dugdale,moved by what she had seen, decided she would take on a challenge, alongside some of her colleagues in the emergency services, to raise money for the charity Féileacáin and Nua Healthcare were proud to support them.
A very well done to all involved on the day.
