Learning how to live through COVID-19

Individually and collectively, we must continue to stay safe, protect ourselves and others around us, and ensure we adhere to the most up to date public health advice.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Nua has taken every reasonable and practicable measure to combat this virus and to protect people within our services, or who may come into contact with our services, through the systematic application of risk assessment and the associated implementation of identified control measures, adherence to regulation, standards and up to date national guidance.

As a service, we wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to each our staff members for their commitment and dedication to ensuring our Service Users remain safe and well during these extraordinary circumstances. We also wish to thank family members for their patience, understanding and flexibility, particularly in relation to visit restrictions.

In the absence of a vaccination, we must learn to live our lives as normally as possible in the presence of Covid-19 and therefore, we wish to assure you that Nua will continue to closely monitor, assess and manage the risks associated with this virus and follow all public health advice and national guidance.
