Nua healthcare operates a number of facilities dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. These include;

Killeen Lodge

Killeen Lodge is a medium-support facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The house is 3,500 sq.ft. and has five bedrooms. 

Situated on two acres of land in the picturesque countryside Killeen Lodge has stunning views and overlooks a number of cornfields.

It is located about a mile from Kildangan, in county Kildare.

Clarey Lodge

Clarey Lodge is a 4 bedroom high support facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The house is 2,500 sq.ft and is set on two acres in the Kildare countryside, just outside Nurney.

Chapel View Elderly Care

Chapel View is a specialist care home providing personalised residential and nursing care for older people with intellectual disabilities and age-related disabilities including Alzeimers and Dementia.

This new state-of-the-art care home is located in a countryside setting in Kilcullen, county Kildare. Just three miles from the local village, it is set on two acres of land and is within easy reach of both Dublin and Waterford.

Combining highly trained staff with purpose-designed accommodation, Chapel View is equipped especially for the needs of older people with intellectual disabilities.

It spans 7,000 sq.ft. and comprises of 11 spacious bedrooms, all for single occupancy.

Facilities at Chapel View Include:

• Individual bedrooms all with wet room ensuite facilities
• Several Family and Social rooms
• Specialist bathing including a Jacuzzi with ceiling hoists
• Secure, landscaped gardens
• Onsite Craft Day service
• Nursing staff 24 hours a day
• Access to our Clinical Team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, etc.
• Lift Access to second floor

Shandra

Shandra is an architecturally designed high-support facility for adolescents with intellectual disabilities, or those with social and emotional difficulties.  

This three-bedroom house is set on two acres of secure gardens, and is located on the outskirts of Portarlington.
