Intellectual Disability:
Community Outreach

Our Community Outreach service provides care and support to people with an intellectual disability living in their own homes to enable them to realise their potential.

Our service aims to assist adults with intellectual disabilities, living in the community, to enjoy a high quality of life by providing support and assistance in whatever areas needed.

Help can be provided on an individually arranged basis in many areas of daily life, including domestic tasks, social and leisure activities and personal care.

The service is flexible and can be arranged to meet a range of needs and circumstances.

Long-term support can be provided, for example by arranging daily visits to help someone living alone with various everyday living tasks.

Support can also be provided weekly or for short periods; for example, to allow regular carers to have a break for a few hours or a few days.
