Nua Healthcare offers an alternative for elderly people to residential and nursing homes by providing care in the home to support independent living.
We provide one-on-one assistance, support and care to elderly people in the comfort of their own homes, helping them retain their independence and individuality on their terms.
Our service has been designed to offer an all-encompassing solution for those requiring care and support at home. We will work with you to build a care support package designed to provide as much or as little care support as you require.
We offer different levels of support - whether it is home care support in the form of a live-in carer to provide companionship or short term visits, or general or more specialised home care support services.
We can accommodate a wide variety of requirements, from one to two hours a week, up to 24 hours round the clock care in the home.
Our careworkers can assist you with everyday tasks such as:
- Morning and bedtime routines
- Bathing and dressing
- Doing light housework
- Laundry
- Helping to prepare meals.
We believe staying involved in your local community is central to your general health and well-being, so we can support you to do this in any number of ways, including accompanying you to attend religious services or social events such as going to the cinema.
