We have recently developed a pilot program for preparing individuals for independent living in the community and are working on the development of a large independent living complex. This new project will cater for individuals who require their own space but lower levels of support than our current facilities
The basic principle of this unit involves a central 7000 sq foot drop in center situated on 6 acres of grounds in Portlaois. We hope to put in 6 – 12 log cabins over the coming year. Each log cabin will provide an individual with their own individualised living space but have easy access to socialisation and supports in the central unit. We are at an advanced stage with this project and are welcoming referrals |
